These Terms govern your use of the Tarots mobile app. By downloading or using Tarots, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

For entertainment only. Tarot readings in this app are generated for entertainment and self-reflection. They are not professional advice and must not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other important decisions. You are solely responsible for the choices you make.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Tarots.

Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Tarots for your own non-commercial purposes. You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the app, or use it to break any law or interfere with its operation or security.

Readings & credits

Readings are produced by an automated AI system and will vary; identical questions may yield different interpretations. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or any particular outcome.
The app uses a credit system: you receive a free daily reading, and you may earn additional readings by watching a rewarded advertisement. Credits are a virtual in-app convenience, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged or transferred, and are non-refundable.
We may change the credit allowance, the ad model, or any feature at any time, and ad availability is not guaranteed.

Advertising

Tarots is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Your use of ads is also subject to Google's terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising data is handled and how to manage ad personalization.

Third-party services

Readings are generated with the help of OpenAI, and the app runs on Google services (Firebase, Google Play, AdMob). Your use of these is also subject to the providers' own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Intellectual property

The app, its name, design, artwork, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Tarot card names and traditional meanings draw on the public-domain Rider–Waite system.

Disclaimers

Tarots is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decisions or actions you take based on a reading. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the app (which, for the free app, is zero).

Changes

We may update these Terms or the app from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
